INSCRIPTIONS ORDINALS NFT BITCOIN

If you have been reading about Ordinals I am sure that you have read about “Inscriptions”. This is because they are being so important in the price of these NFTs or “Digital Artefacts”, as Rodarmor calls them (the creator of Ordinal Protocol in Bitcoin)

This importance is given since the inscriptions give us a numerical “antiquity”. That is, your NFT can be inscription 1, 15 or 1000, depending on the “position” in which you have created it.

Inscriptions indicate when you created your Ordinal, so making an Inscription of your Ordinal is basically creating your NFT in Bitcoin. So an inscription indicates when an NFT has been written on a particular satoshi.
